<p>An optical signal detection device and optical signal detection method, able to detect the true signal strength from a signal which contains noise. The optical signal detection device is provided with: at least two filtering means which receive the same optical signal as input, have transmission peaks at different specific wavelengths from each other, and have the same strength for noise which has passed through; detecting means for detecting the output optical strength from the respective filtering means; and a computing means for computing, from the output optical strength detected by the detecting means, the signal strength of the signal component of the optical signal.</p> |
