#CMT# #/CMT# The mechanism has a sliding pinion (6) mounted on a non-circular section segment of a winding rod (1). The sliding pinion has a Breguet tooth (6a) engaged with an edging Breguet tooth (5a) of a winding pinion (5), and another tooth engaged with a timer gear-train (15) by a hand-setting wheel. A lever (7) is engaged with a draw bar (3) and with the sliding pinion so as to be displaced along the rod. A return spring (14) is engaged with the lever to elastically maintain the Breguet teeth relative to each other. The wheel is pivotingly mounted on an axle integrated to the lever. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Winding and hand-setting mechanism for a timepiece i.e. watch. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The return spring is engaged with the lever to elastically maintain the Breguet teeth relative to each other, and the wheel is pivotingly mounted on the axle integrated to the lever, thus preventing the wheel from pivoting around a fixed axle, permitting the wheel to be constantly engaged with the sliding pinion and rotated in all axial positions of the winding rod between determined limited positions, and permitting the sliding pinion to be rotated in axial positions using the segment of the winding rod.
