PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens capable of exhibiting a function of shielding light while adjusting an interlens distance precisely, a lens unit and a camera module. SOLUTION: Since groove parts L3c, L2c are arranged respectively on an abutting plane of a flange part L3b on a flange part L2b and on that of the part L2b on a flange part L1b so that the direction parallel to the optical axis may become the depth directions of the groove parts and a light shielding material SH is filled up in the groove parts L3c, L2c, the unnecessary light intruding into a holder 55 can be restrained from arriving at an imaging device 52 by the light shielding material SH. Furthermore, since the light shielding material SH is filled up so that the light shielding material may not overflow the edges of the groove parts L3c, L2c, the light shielding material SH does not cause the interference when the flange parts are abutted on each other.
