PLUG CONVEYING APPARATUS FOR SEAMLESS STEEL TUBE, AND TRAY FOR CONVEYING PLUG

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug conveying apparatus with which the conveying work of a new plug and a deteriorated plug is performed rapidly and stably so as not to check the rolling work of seamless steel tubes. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This apparatus includes: a monorail (5) which is arranged in a predetermined section; a carrying electric car (4) with carriers which is traveled on the monorail (5) and a casing (3) which is hung from the carrier (4B) of the carrying electric car. The casing (3) has a size in which the plug carrying tray (2) with one plug (1) is placed in the vertical state is housed and has tray receiving parts (3A) which are projected inward so as to be brought into contact with the bottoms in four corners of the plug conveying tray (2) in its lower end part.
