PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable both right and left edges of a sheet to be precisely buried in the soil not only when a new agricultural sheet is used but also when a recycled sheet roll having uneven both edge positions and obtained by recovering a sheet by winding the sheet in a laid state is used. SOLUTION: The sheet-laying apparatus for agriculture, for covering the soil surface by the agricultural sheet by sending out the agricultural sheet according to the travel of a machine body is equipped with a sheet roll spindle for supporting the sheet roll obtained by winding the sheet in the roll shape so as to be freely rotatable, and arranged in the right and left direction based on the traveling direction of the machine body, and a sheet edge-arranging means for manually arranging the position of the sheet edge part by sliding the roll spindle in the right and left direction. The sheet edge-arranging means has a right and left pair of sheet-sliding levers, and is constituted so that the edge part position of the agricultural sheet may be arranged by sliding the sheet roll spindle in the right or left direction according to the right or left operation of the operation lever parts of the sheet slide levers.
