<p>The invention relates to an electrical switching device for a switching assembly of a motor vehicle steering column including a printed circuit board (3), first (5a, 5b, 5c) and second electrical contact pads (7a, 7b, 7c) distributed on said board according to a predetermined pattern (4), movable means (9) for contacting said first and second contact pads, said contacting means comprising two pairs of contact arms (11a, 11b, 13a, 13b), the arms from each pair being linked on either side of a common trunk (15), respectively. In a switching position, each pair of contact arms (11a, 11b, 13a, 13b) places a first contact pad (5a, 5b, 5c) in electrical contact with a second contact pad (7a, 7b, 7c). The pattern of the first and second electrical contact pads (5a, 5b, 5c, 7a, 7b, 7c) and the extension of the contact arms (11a, 11b, 13a, 13b) are carried out so that, in each switching position, at least three electrical contact pads (5b, 5c, 7a; 5b, 7a, 7b; 5a, 5b, 7b; 5a, 7b, 7c) are placed in contact with each other so as to obtain two separate switching states (E1, E2, E3, E4, E5).</p> |
