RUBBER COMPOSITION FOR THE TREAD OF A WINTER TYRE

The invention relates to a rubber composition that can be used for the tread of a winter tyre and has a high grip on melting ice, and that comprises at least one dienic elastomer such as natural rubber and/or a polybutadiene, more than 30 pce of a liquid plasticizing agent, between 50 and 150 pce of a reinforcement load such as silica and/or carbon black, and between 4 and 50 pce of wheat semolina. The invention also relates to the use of such a composition for making treads for winter tyres, and to the treads and the tyres themselves.
