<p>u A process for optimising the quality of a melt in the plastifier of an injection moulding machine, comprises feeding the melt to the worm prechamber. The pressure in the prechamber moves the worm (1) backwards at a speed which is controlled according to a mathematical model. The model determines the volume passing through the worm. The backward speed is used as the basis for controlling the dosing.</p> |
