Reinforcing textil for composite material and method for producing the same

The textile reinforcement comprises non-woven flat rolling layer (3) consisting of linen fibers (4), whose highest part individually extends parallely to a direction (X-X') perpendicular to a length (l) of the layer. The layer is conditioned in view of its incorporation in the polymer matrix. The fibers are fixed to a support (2). A needle (5) connects the fibers of the layer to the support. An intermediate sheet is rolled with the layer to separate two consecutive coils of the layer from one another. An independent claim is included for a process for fabricating a textile reinforcement.
