PURPOSE: An optical film, a master roll for making pattern and a master roll pattern casting groove molding method are provided to improve brightness and to prevent moire phenomenon by periodically forming pattern forming grooves. CONSTITUTION: An optical film, a master roll for making pattern comprises first and second pattern casting grooves. The second pattern casting groove is formed into the first pattern casting groove in a different longitudinal direction cycle. The first and second pattern casting grooves are periodically repetitively formed.
