VIDEO INDEXING METHOD AND SYSTEM BASED ON INTERNET

摘要

PURPOSE: An internet-based video indexing method and a system of the same are provided to index video files in readable XML(eXtensible Markup Language) language at an internet-based terminal, thereby minimizing the cost to manage and maintain a database. CONSTITUTION: A video indexing unit(200) receives input parameters about video contents from GUI(Graphic User Interface)(100). The video indexing device performs indexing of target video contents. An index manager(210) generates index file of XML language about the target video contents. A search manager(220) searches EVI(Elementary Video Index) from a file stored in a PVR(Personal Video Recorder)(300). A grouping manager(240) grouping the index of related video files.
