PURPOSE: An air/fuel double pre-mix self-supercharging internal combustion engine with freewheeling mechanism is intended to provide more efficient combustion, good mechanical balance, vibration reduction, power increase and discharged gas decrease through a pair of engines. CONSTITUTION: An air/fuel double pre-mix self-supercharging internal combustion engine with freewheeling mechanism comprises a first piston(3) and a first cylinder(1) comprising an intake valve and a discharge valve, a second piston(4) and a second cylinder(2) comprising an intake valve and a discharge valve and a third piston(31) of which size is at least twice the first or second piston, and a third cylinder(30) of which size is at least twice the first or second cylinder. The first piston is connected to a first crank shaft(39) and the second piston is connected to the first crank shaft. The third piston comprises a valve(5) which makes the air and the fuel flow into the third cylinder. The third cylinder is connected to the intake valves of the first and second cylinders and the first and second pistons. The third piston is connected to the first crank shaft similar to the first and second pistons. A second combination consisting of three pistons and cylinders is further comprised. The three pistons are connected to second crank shafts and each crank shaft is connected by engaging gears. The freewheeling mechanism can be integrated into the first crank shaft and/or the second crank shaft. Moreover, two conventional engine crank shafts can be installed on one cylinder block. |
