PURPOSE: An elevation guide apparatus for a band saw is provided to ensure smooth elevation of a band saw by reducing the sliding contact area. CONSTITUTION: An elevation guide apparatus for a band saw comprises a supporter(11) and a rail(12). The supporter with a flat front surface is installed in an elevation prop of a band saw. The rail is installed in the supporter and coupled with the body of the band saw so that the body of the band saw is raised and lowered.
