<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable rotational driving of a development apparatus with high accuracy, and to eliminate image defect caused by a position of the development apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: In the revolver type development apparatus, rotational driving of a rotational member 25 provided with a plurality of developing devices 3 and driving of the developing device 3 are performed by switching driving force from one driving source via a driving force-switching mechanism 30; and a coupling mechanism 20 adjacent to the driving force-switching mechanism 30 is provided. The coupling mechanism 20 is composed of a convex coupling member 21 including outer peripheral teeth 21a and a concave coupling member 22 including inner peripheral teeth 22a concentrically engaged with the outer peripheral teeth 21a. The coupling mechanism is constructed as a shape of a spline shaft in an involute spline with torsion tilted against an engaging shaft such that the outer peripheral teeth 21a and the inner peripheral teeth 22a are biased in the engaging direction when either one of them is set to be a driving side while being biased in the separating direction when another is set to be the driving side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
