<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-pressure discharge lamp with damage prevented at a sealing part of the glass bulb even by covering with solder a part of the surface of a lead wire located outside the glass bulb, as well as a lighting device and an image display with damage prevented at a sealing part of the glass bulb at lighting due to solder entering between the glass bulb and a lead wire, even if a part is covered with solder out of the surface of the lead wire of the low-pressure discharge lamp fitted inside. <P>SOLUTION: The low-pressure discharge lamp 100, provided with a glass bulb 101, an electrode 102 arranged inside the glass bulb 101, and a lead wire 103 with its one end connected to the electrode 102 and the other end led outside the glass bulb 101, includes an oxide film 106 formed in the vicinity of an end part of the glass bulb 101, at a part of the surface of the lead wire 103 located outside the glass bulb 101. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
