<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply system for improving the startability of an engine to actualize good output characteristics even when the temperature of fuel is changed. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel supply system includes a fuel temperature detecting means for detecting the temperature of fuel discharged from a low pressure pump, a flow amount varying valve for varying the amount of fuel to flow from the low pressure pump into a high pressure pump, and a valve opening control means for controlling the opening of the flow amount varying valve in accordance with the predetermined volume of the high pressure pump and the temperature of the fuel detected by the fuel temperature detecting means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
