<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector attaining high-speed transmission of a high-frequency signal and densification of terminals even in a structure configured to support a movable housing movably relative to a fixed housing by elastic deformation of the terminals. <P>SOLUTION: Parts of the terminals 30 exposed between the housings 10, 20 are covered with an insulating resin layer 30d, by which a difference in impedance between these parts and other parts covered with the housings 10, 20 can be reduced to effectively avoid turbulence of an electric signal due to mismatching of impedances in the respective terminals 30. The resin layer 30d can avoid shorts regardless of contact of adjacent first elastic strips 34 when the first elastic strips 34 of the terminals 30 are elastically deformed in a width direction of the fixed housing 10, by which the pitch between the respective terminals 30 can be reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
