<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an image forming apparatus for reducing operating sound in equipment startup in accordance with a time zone; operating sound reduction method; and operating sound reduction program. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: a time zone determination means 41 for determining, when the apparatus starts up, whether it is a time zone to implement reduction of operating sound; and an operating sound reduction means 42 for reducing the operating sound, which is generated by an initial adjustment which is performed in startup, based on a result of the determination made by the time zone determination means 41. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
