PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swirling type bubble generator with simple structure, achieving both of stabilization of bubble generation amount and abrasion prevention by erosion. SOLUTION: Hot water fed in the tangential direction of the inner peripheral face of a swirling chamber 34 from a communication path opening 42 disposed in a second swirling chamber 34b, swirls in the swirling chamber 34 around an axis to form an air column coaxial with the axis of the swirling chamber 34. By the air column, air is sucked from an air intake communication path 41 through an air intake port 40b, mixed with swirling hot water, and gas-liquid containing fine bubbles is jetted from a bubble stream jetting port 24. In a contact part of the air column formed at the center of the swirling stream with the end of a protruded part 40a, the end of a protruded part 40a is formed in a hemispherical shape, having no flat part perpendicularly crossing the air column, hardly in contact with the air column, to thereby prevent abrasion of the end.
