<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projected window and the like, which can secure an effective opening in a large size when a sliding screen is opened. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This projected window includes: the sliding screen capable of closing the opening; first and second sliders capable of sliding by being guided by a slide rail provided along a face direction; and a link mechanism which connects the sliding screen, and the first and second sliders together, which closes the opening with the sliding screen while the first and second sliders are separated, and which opens the sliding screen by moving a door-end side of the sliding screen in a depth direction while sliding the first and second sliders in the direction of getting closer to each other. In the beginning of the opening of the sliding screen, the first slider slides while the second slider stops.
