PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bag-shaped container for effectively preventing the handle of the container from biting into a hand or fingers in holding the container. SOLUTION: This bag-shaped container 10 is provided with a handle 20 which is separable from a bag part 13 when its periphery is sealed and whose inside is unsealed. The inside of the handle 20 is formed with a tongue forming line 22 which is a cut line. The line 22 forms a tongue piece 24 and while one end of the piece is connected to the handle, the other end is separable from the handle. The piece 24 maintains an individually curled condition. To be specific, a cut line 26 for catching the curled tongue piece 24 inserted near the base end of the piece 24.
