PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Al alloy casting free from crack-causing needle-shaped crystallized substances. SOLUTION: A melt 20 of an Fe-containing Al alloy poured into a molding die 22 in the completely liquid state is vibrated by a vibrating needle 26 of a vibration applying unit 24. The vibration step is carried out at a frequency of 20 to 1,000 Hz, and is continued until just before the melt 20 is cooled to solid-liquid coexisting temperature region.
