<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-sided image forming device capable of conveying paper without changing the front end and a rear end of the paper and capable of facilitating high speed conveyance free from a fold and crease and the like of paper in a small space. <P>SOLUTION: The double-sided image forming device includes an image carrier, a resist means, a fixing device, a circulating re-feeding part, a paper top and bottom inverting means and a paper front and rear inverting means. The paper front and rear inverting means is provided with two conveying means, arranged at laterally equally spaced positions for the center position of the paper in its width direction, including a forward rotation conveying means capable of rotating in a forward direction and a forward and reverse rotation conveying means capable of rotating in both forward and reverse directions and a rotation center pinching means arranged at a middle position between the two conveying means. When the paper is conveyed to a predetermined position, the forward rotation conveying means is rotated in the forward direction and the forward and reverse rotation conveying means is rotated in the reverse direction so that the paper is rotated by 180° around the rotation center pinching means and a same end of the paper is stuck to the resist means when images are formed on both sides. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
