PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the use of an illegal tool more difficult for the unlawful feeding of medals. SOLUTION: A medal selector 34 of a slot machine has a medal path 42 formed where the medals 29 flow down. The medal path 42 is provided with a medal detection part 48 for detecting the flowing down of the medals 29. A moving mechanism 54 is connected to the medal detection part 48 and moves the medal detection part 48 in the downflow direction of the medals 29. Based on the result of the detection with the medal detection part 48, a control circuit of the slot machine determines whether the medals are fed in succession exceeding 20 or not. When the medals are determined to be fed in succession exceeding 20, it is detected that there is a possibility of the fraudulent work committed by feeding the medals 29 using the illegal tool. Upon the detection of the possibility of the fraudulent work, the control circuit directs the moving mechanism 54 to move the medal detection part 48. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
