PURPOSE: A power supply device for a minute power is provided to improve power source efficiency by supplying electric energy which is charged in an electric double layer capacitor to a digital circuit for a long time. CONSTITUTION: A rectifier circuit(120) rectifies an AC power source into a DC voltage. A charger circuit(140) changes the DC voltage into a different level. An electric double layer capacitor(150) charges the DC voltage which is transformed with the charger circuit. A control circuit(160) detects and controls the charge voltage of the electric double layer capacitor. A voltage conversion circuit(170) changes a voltage which is charged in the electric double layer capacitor into a stable voltage. A starting circuit(130) is electrically connected between the rectifier circuit and the charger circuit.
