<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is difficult to determine optimum recording laser power when there is a PCA of a second recording layer at a position facing a PCA of a first recording layer, where the amount of light or the like reaching the PCA of the second recording layer is varied due to stepwise change of recording laser power with respect to the PCA of the first recording layer. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The PCA area d1 of L0 and the PCA area e1 of L1 are arranged so as to be shifted in a disk radial direction so that they do not overlap each other in a stacking direction, while an area overlapping the PCA area e1 of the L1 in the stacking direction and larger than at least the amount of eccentricity at both sides of the PCA area e1 is disposed as a physical format area d4 on the L0, further, data areas a12 and b12 of the L0 and L1 are disposed to be substantially opposite to each other.
