PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to easily obtain frame images having the highest degree of focusing in all of frame images for composing moving images. SOLUTION: A focus curve, which indicates a focus evaluation value for each of all frame images for composing the moving image, is displayed along with the frame image in the reproduction of the moving image, thus enabling the user to easily obtain a position (frame number) on the time series of the frame image where an AF evaluation value is maximized on the focus curve, and hence enabling the user to display the frame image where the AF evaluation value is maximized on the focus curve on a liquid crystal display 26a by operating a cross button 27a to display the frame image by frame advance, while checking the transition of the AF evaluation value successively indicated by an arrow on the focus curve.
