PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery capable of maintaining a performance level for a long period of time. SOLUTION: A sealing part 20 of the secondary battery 10 has a gas exhausting part 23 to exhaust gas generated by a power generation element 108 to the outside, a gas adsorbing part 21 to adsorb gas, and a first seal opening 22 where seal-opening strength is relatively weaker than that of the other part of the sealing part 20. The gas exhausting part 23 has a second seal opening 231 which is relatively weaker than the other part of the sealing part 20 in opening strength and relatively stronger than the first seal-opening part 22 in opening strength.
