PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of preventing water leakage to the external of an air conditioner body and preventing direct transmission of vibration of a drain pump to the air conditioner body. SOLUTION: This air conditioner has an air conditioner body 1a incorporating a drain pan 4 receiving and accumulating drainage 3 generated in a heat exchanger 2, and the drain pump 5 for discharging the drainage 3 in the drain pan 4, and a drain socket 8 inserted into a square hole (not shown in drawing) formed on one side plate 10 of the air conditioner body 1a, fixed by a plurality of screws 12 and the like, and having a connection port 13 for connecting a drain hose 7 communicated with the drain pump 5, and a flange 15 projecting toward the inside of the air conditioner body 1a is formed on a lower section of the square hole. The water leakage to the external is prevented by the flange 15 even when the drainage 3 leaks from the connection port 13, and as the strength of a square hole section of the side plate 10 is increased, direct transmission of the vibration of the drain pump 5 to the air conditioner body 1a can be prevented.
