PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine more types of devices than that can be determined by one AD port without adding an AD port of a microcomputer. SOLUTION: When an option device is connected to an AV amplifier, input voltage input to an AD port of a microcomputer changes in accordance with the type of the option device. The AV amplifier manages the type of the option device in association with the voltage value of the input voltage. When the voltage value of the input voltage is not a predetermined voltage value, the type managed in association with the voltage value is discriminated as the type of the connected option device. When the voltage value is the predetermined voltage value, the type of the connected option device is determined by acquiring information on the type from the option device. By providing a plurality of types for the predetermined voltage value, it is possible to determine more device types than that can be determined by one AD port without adding an AD port.
