<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hearing aid for both ears, the hearing aid easily suppressing howling in a short period of time when using a device, such as a telephone or a transceiver, to be used near one ear. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The hearing aid for both ears has wearing units for right ear and for left ear. In the hearing aid, each wearing unit includes: a microphone; and a receiver for outputting a signal inputted from the microphone. The hearing aid further includes: a sound signal-processing section for supporting hearing of a signal to be transmitted to each receiver; a switching control section for switching signals to be transmitted to the respective sound signal processing sections; and a storage section for storing setting information of sound signal processing.
