PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is impossible to transmit different traffic information in accordance with output reason of a transmission request.

SOLUTION: The traffic information management device is configured to acquire a request to transmit traffic information output in response to an instruction made by a user operation or an automatic instruction, to determine the output reason of the transmission request, and to control a communication part to transmit different traffic information for regions according to whether the instruction is made by a user operation or the instruction is automatically made.
