PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder lock which can regulate not only the entry of a foreign substance caused by nature but also the entry of a foreign substance adhered to a key which is caused artificially. SOLUTION: The cylinder lock 1 is provided with a lock body 2 and a cylinder 4 which is rotatably supported by the cylinder hole 3 of the lock body 2, and provided with a key hole 5. A space through which the key inserted from the key hole 5 passes is formed in a support piece 9, and a removal brush 8A is supported by the support piece 9. The removal brush 8A is constituted by a large number of wire materials which are formed by spring materials so that they can cover the space. The support piece 9 is inserted from the groove 17 of the cylinder 4, and the removal brush 8A is attached to the cylinder 4. Thus, the key hole 5 is covered with the removal brush 8A. When the key which has been inserted from the key hole 5 passes through the removal brush 8A, the wire materials are brought into sliding contact with the key while undergoing elastic deformation, and the foreign substance adhered to the key is scratched away.
