PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently utilize memory resources on a physical server provided at a virtual machine by making a memory sharing function further effectively work in a virtual environment. SOLUTION: A virtual machine system includes: a plurality of first server devices capable of executing virtualization software for constituting a virtual machine; and a second server which performs the exchange of data with the first server devices. The second server device includes a virtual machine search means which acquires resource information for the assignment of physical resources of the virtual machine in the first server device from the plurality of first server devices, and searches a memory-sharable virtual machine in the first server device that is a transfer destination from the first server devices other than the first server device of the transfer destination; and a virtual machine transfer means which transfers the virtual machine searched by the virtual machine searching means to the first server device of the transfer destination.
