Hydraulic cylinder

The hydraulic cylinder (10) is either an actuating or receiving cylinder and has pistons (12) with a signal element (14) which move longitudinally in a cylinder housing (16) and a position evaluator (18) attached. The position of the piston in the cylinder housing can be determined. The signal element is fixed to a holding flap (20) attached to the rear of the piston. The holding flap has an inner cut-away section with a ring section and a number of snapping elements for fixing to the piston.
