<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blue light-emitting phosphor which has a high emitting intensity and high stability against heat. <P>SOLUTION: The blue light-emitting phosphor has a basic compositional formula of Sr<SB>3-x</SB>MgSi<SB>2</SB>O<SB>8</SB>:Eu<SB>x</SB>(wherein x is a value in the range of 0.008-0.110), the same crystal structure as that of merwinite, and a crystal lattice deformation of not more than 0.055%, which is obtained by Le Bail method from X ray diffraction pattern in the range 20-130 deree of 2θmeasured by using CuKαray. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
