Ž<P>SOLUTION: Before the conveyor belt 53 starts conveyance of paper P, voltage is not impressed between a pair of comb electrodes 62a and 62b, and after the conveyor belt 53 starts the conveyance of the paper P, the voltage is impressed between the pair of comb electrodes 62a and 62b, and the paper P is electrostatically attracted to a conveyance surface 54.
