<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To defoam foams generated when an oil-and-fat containing a lipid to thicken an oil-and-fat such as a phospholipid, an emulsifier, a protein, a saccharide, and water is put under reduced pressure, and to provide a defoamant therefor. <P>SOLUTION: While an oil-and-fat to be defoamed is being defoamed with a defoamant for oil-and-fat obtained by mixing white clay and silica to make a slurry, the oil-and-fat is refined through a process involving pressure reduction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
