PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-adhesive sheet for chucking an object to be chucked with suitable force while securing surface smoothness and being easily peeled from the object to be chucked and to provide a self-adhesive tape for chucking. SOLUTION: In the self-adhesive sheet 1 for chucking containing a side chain crystalline polymer, self-adhesive force of the self-adhesive sheet is reduced at a temperature lower than the melting point of the side chain crystalline polymer. In the self-adhesive tape for chucking, a self-adhesive layer containing the side chain crystalline polymer is provided on one surface of a base material film and self-adhesive force is reduced at a temperature lower than the melting point of the side chain crystalline polymer; or self-adhesive layers are provided on both surfaces of the base material film, the self-adhesive layer on at least the side of the object to be chucked contains the side chain crystalline polymer and the adhesive force is reduced at a temperature lower than the melting point of the side chain crystalline polymer.
