PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase motor torque by increasing reluctance torque. SOLUTION: An annular rotor 16 whose outer circumference is spaced from a stator 13 with an air gap G1 and inner circumference is fixed to a rotating shaft 14 includes: an electromagnet 23 formed of a field core 21 fixed to a supporting member for rotatably supporting the rotating shaft 14 and a field winding 22 wound around the field core 21; first and second claw pole cores 25, 26 having roots fixed to the rotating shaft 14 with spacing and spaced from the electromagnet 23 with an air gap G2; and annular laminate cores 12 having an annular shape and disposed on the outer circumferential surfaces of the claw pole cores 25, 26. The annular laminate cores 12 are formed by engaging permanent magnets 33 magnetized in the annular radial direction of the annular shape and magnetized so that adjacent ones have different directions, on a plurality of slits 31 opened penetrating in a radial direction for each electric angle in the circumferential direction on the annular surface and on a plurality of slots 32 opened penetrating in the circumferential direction between the slits 31.
