TARGET DEVICE

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a target device capable of responding to live-fire training and shooting training using laser beams and of determining hit even when shooting is performed from a remote place at an angle and even when shooting is continuously performed. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The target device 31 includes: a target 43; a linear motion drive mechanism 44 for performing appearance/disappearance control of the target 43; a hit sensor for detecting hit on the target 43; and an irradiation device 46 for applying visible light to the target 43. The irradiation device 46 is constituted separately from the target 43, irradiates the target 43 with visible light when hit is detected by the hit sensor and informs a shooting trainee 34 about the hit on the target 43.
