<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately prevent a fraudulent work from being committed by unlawfully feeding medals using an illegal tool. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A medal selector 34 of a slot machine has a medal path 42 formed where the medals 29 flow down. The medal path 42 is provided with a medal detection part 48 for detecting the flowing down of the medals 29. A moving mechanism 54 is connected to the medal detection part 48 and moves the medal detection part 48 in the downflow direction of the medals 29. When the medal detection part 48 detects the medals 29 flowing down, it is determined whether the detection pattern coincides with that previously stored or not.
