Disclosed is a reflector (10) which receives the shape of a rotational body according to a rational square Bezier curve. Such a reflector can advantageously be used for focusing light from a high-pressure discharge lamp (116) so that the light source arrangement (110) has a specific etendue. Such a light source arrangement (110) with the reflector (10), in particular with an integrator (30) arranged downstream thereof, can advantageously be used in a projector apparatus.
