<p>Disclosed is a powder coating apparatus (100) which is provided with an insulating plate (7) between a screen electrode (1) and a transfer electrode (3). An object to be coated (10), which is a continuous metal body, is arranged on the insulating plate (7). After arranging the object to be coated (10), a powder (21) is supplied over the screen electrode (1) from a hopper (2). Then a high voltage is applied by a direct current high voltage power supply (31), so that an electrostatic field is formed between the screen electrode (1) and the transfer electrode (3), and a powder layer (22) is pressed by a roller (4). As a result, the object to be coated (10) is coated with the powder on the screen electrode (1).</p> |
