<p>A mobile communication system comprises a mobile station which is connected to a base station by radio, and which communicates with a device to be connected via the base station when located within the cell formed by the base station, and a relay station which forms a limited area. The relay station receives a downlink signal from the base station, and transmits a limited downlink signal in which information indicating the limited area is added to the downlink signal into the limited area. When receiving the limited downlink signal, the mobile station brings an uplink signal indicating that the function thereof is limited into synchronization with the downlink channel which the mobile station has received from the base station, and transmits the uplink signal synchronized with the downlink channel to the base station.</p> |
