The medical instrument comprises a hand attachment, a hand piece, a drill head and a boring head (10) for a drill, particularly diamond drill. The boring head has a shaft (15) which is formed as a tubular, elongated body (27) with two ends (28). The shaft has a sleeve (16) over which the shaft is fastened to the hand piece. The sleeve has a fixing unit (17) which comprises a rubber ring. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a device for a medical instrument; and (2) a method for bone grafting, particularly dental applications.
