摘要 <p>Provided is a thermoelectric conversion element, which has a stress relaxing structure which has a large area and can be manufactured by a simple method so as to suppress failures generated by a stress due to thermal expansion and the like, and also has high thermoelectric conversion performance. The thermoelectric conversion element is composed of a pair of p and n thermoelectric semiconductors which are sandwiched by a high-temperature side electrode and a low-temperature side electrode. The thermoelectric conversion element has the structure wherein a spiral conductive member having a length/diameter ratio of 2 or more is disposed in a bonding space between the high-temperature side electrode and/or the low-temperature side electrode and the semiconductor such that the long axis of the spiral conductive member is parallel to the bonding space, and the electrode and the semiconductor are bonded to each other.</p>
