PURPOSE: A terminal having a function automatically generating an album and a method for automatically generating by using the same are provided to extract file name of a file stored in a terminal and classify files by extracted file name. CONSTITUTION: An extracting unit(102) extracts file name. A comparing unit(103) compares the extracted file name with a file name of random file name. According to the comparison result, a classifying unit classifies by file itself including a common word amount the file name and a file name of a random file. The extracting unit extracts a word either before or after a classification symbol based on classification symbol of the extracted file name.
