PURPOSE: A damage preventing apparatus for a belt conveyor is provided to prevent a friction between a belt conveyor and the side of a belt. CONSTITUTION: A damage preventing apparatus for a belt conveyor includes a bracket(40). The bracket is installed on one side of the lower side of the belt conveyor. A recess(41) is formed on the lower side of the bracket. A bended part(42) is formed on both sides of the bracket and minimizes a friction and interference between the side of a belt and the bracket.
