PURPOSE: A method for streaming contents of an external contents server and an apparatus thereof are provided to save the construction cost of a database which is required to store external contents by streaming the contents stored at the external contents server to a user terminal. CONSTITUTION: When the contents stored at an external content server is requested, an allocation unit(210) allocates plural channels to the external contents server. A control unit(220) downloads metadata of the contents through the one of the allocated channels. In addition, the control unit downloads the contents through the rest channels. The control unit inspects the validity of the contents by using the metadata, and a streaming unit(240) streams the downloaded contents to the terminal if the contents is valid. |
